This Privacy Policy explains how JobAlign HR ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you use our mobile applications (the "App"), including both the Employee Self-Service Portal and the Admin Panel.

By using our Apps, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

PART 1: Admin Panel Privacy Policy

If you use the JobAlign HR Admin Panel as a human resources manager, administrator, or business owner, the following terms apply:

1. Information We Collect (Admin)

Account Information: When you log in, we collect your admin credentials, name, and email address.
Organizational Data: The App processes data related to your company's employees, including names, contact details, attendance records, leave requests, and payroll information.
Usage Data: We may collect diagnostic and usage information to improve the App's performance and fix bugs.

2. How We Use Your Information (Admin)

We use the collected data strictly to provide and maintain the HR services within the App, including:

Facilitating workforce management (attendance, leaves, payroll).
Authenticating administrative access.
Sending push notifications regarding pending approvals or system alerts.
Improving App functionality and user experience.

PART 2: Employee Self-Service Privacy Policy

If you use the JobAlign HR App as an employee to connect to your employer's human resources system, the following terms apply:

1. Information We Collect (Employee)

A. Location Information (Critical)

To provide the core functionality of the App—specifically, the "Check In," "Check Out," and "Lunch" attendance features—the App requires access to your device's location services.

When it is collected: Location data (GPS coordinates) is only collected at the exact moment you tap an attendance button. We do not track your location continuously in the background.
Why it is collected: This data is used solely to verify that you are at the authorized workplace or remote location designated by your employer at the time of your clock-in/out.
How it is shared: This location data is securely transmitted directly to your employer's designated server domain.

B. Device Information

We collect specific device information, such as your unique Device ID.

Why it is collected: To ensure secure access, prevent fraudulent attendance logging, and verify that the attendance request is coming from your registered device.

C. Personal & Employment Data

When you log in, the App accesses personal data stored on your employer's server, including your Name, Email Address, Leave Balances, Leave Requests, and Attendance History.

PART 3: General Terms (All Users)

1. Data Retention and Security

JobAlign HR acts as a client application. The data collected by the App is transmitted directly to and stored on the server domain configured by your employer. We do not store your data on proprietary third-party servers outside of your employer's infrastructure.

The security of your data is important to us. The App uses standard encryption protocols (HTTPS/SSL) to transmit your credentials and data securely. However, remember that no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

2. Third-Party Access

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information, location data, or organizational data to external third parties. Data is strictly communicated between the JobAlign HR mobile application and your employer's designated backend API.

3. Your Choices and Permissions

You have complete control over the permissions granted to the App. You can enable or disable location access for the App through your device's settings. Please note that disabling location services will prevent employees from successfully checking in or out.

4. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
